Welcome to The Unit! We are a free, open-access space for creatives and filmmakers in the Keighley and Bradford district. Whether you are an already established creative looking for a space to work, or a new filmmaker looking for a community, we are here to help.
With regular workshop events spanning from animation, to script-writing, to documentary, access to industry standard equipment for hire, post-production facilities, and a hot-desking space in the heart of Keighley, The Unit aims to support anyone interested or working in the screen industries.
As co-hosts of the newly opened Stockroom Cinema, we support screenings by local filmmaking talent, as well as showing the incredible work from our membership via the Five Minute Film Club.
We are proud to be supported by Channel 4 and Bradford Council, and delivered in partnership with Screen Yorkshire.
