The Unit Announces New 3-Month Content Sprint

We’re excited to share that The Unit will be launching its 3-month Content Sprint, a structured development programme designed to support emerging filmmakers and content creators across Bradford and West Yorkshire.

The Sprint is aligned with Channel 4 editorial priorities and focuses on developing storytelling, short-form content, and digital skills, whilst amplifying diverse regional voices.

Over three months, participants will develop, produce, and showcase new work through a mix of online workshops, industry insight sessions, and collaborative creative development.

Programme Structure:

Month 1: Channel 4 Briefs & Idea Development

Introduction to The Unit’s new 3-Month Content Sprint (including Channel 4 inspired creative briefs) and networking sessions.

Month 2: Production & Skills

Workshops with industry guests from Channel 4 and ongoing drop-in support/networking sessions.

Month 3: Showcase & Progression

Drop-in support and a final public screening event.
